Frozen peas are one of the most convenient, nutritious ingredients you can keep on hand for baby. They’re naturally sweet, packed with plant-based protein and fiber, and they cook beautifully straight from frozen in your Babycook! Whether you’re just starting solids or building out new flavor combinations, here’s how to turn frozen peas into a smooth, vibrant purée in minutes.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of frozen peas
Instructions:
1. Add water to the reservoir
Fill your Babycook’s water reservoir to level 2.
2. Steam the peas
Place frozen peas into the steam basket. Press the steam button to start the steam cycle and let Babycook do the work.
3. Blend to desired texture
Once cycle is complete, transfer peas to the blending bowl. Blend until smooth, adding small amounts of the leftover cooking liquid to reach your preferred consistency.
5. Cool and serve
Let cool slightly before serving. Store leftovers in the fridge or freeze for later.
